Schmidt Elected API Vice President
Associate Professor Rod Schmidt was recently elected Vice President of the
Association for Pathology Infomatics (API). The API is a division of ASIP (American Society for Investigative Pathology) and is the premier organization devoted to advancing the field informatics related to anatomic pathology. The API holds 2-3 meetings annually and supports a number of initiatives related to education, pathology practice, and research, particularly research related to tissue repositories, biopmarkers, and data communication.
